We flew our spinnaker for the first time! It took for-EV-er to put it up and take it down, no one really knowing what they were doing, but once it was up we were bookin’. We passed a 25 footer on the downwind leg, took down the spinnaker early and beat our way up the channel to finish ahead of yellow-hulled Kali’o Kalani.
Second official race complete, beat one boat, and that’s with a green crew and missing our start time by a few minutes.
